It appears Jordan Romano’s time with the Toronto Blue Jays has come to an end.
The 31-year-old relief pitcher from Markham, Ontario has been non-tendered by the team, as first reported by ESPN’s Jeff Passan. It means Romano will become a free agent, likely ending his six-year run with the Blue Jays.

An MLB All-Star in 2022 and 2023, Romano appeared in just 15 games last season due to injury and underwent season-ending elbow surgery in July. Romano was scheduled to make $6.5 million next season.
