If you’re a driver in Alberta who’s been putting off filling your gas tank, there’s some good news on the horizon: prices at the pump are about to take a dip.
According to the gas price forecasting site Gas Wizard, drivers in Alberta’s major cities can expect some relief tomorrow as fuel prices are projected to decrease.
On Wednesday, November 27, regular gas prices in Edmonton are set to drop by two cents, bringing the cost down to $1.33 per litre.
Premium gas will also see a similar reduction, dipping two cents to $1.61 per litre.
Diesel prices in YEG are also expected to decline slightly, with a two-cent decrease bringing the price to $1.50 per litre.
Meanwhile, in Calgary, regular gas is also forecast to drop by two cents, bringing the new price to $1.42 per litre tomorrow. However, premium fuel in Calgary isn’t expected to see any change and will remain at its current rate.
For diesel users in Calgary, prices are anticipated to fall by two cents, reaching $1.57 per litre, according to Gas Wizard.
So, if you’ve been delaying a trip to the gas pump, tomorrow may be the best time to fuel up. With the holidays quickly approaching, your bank account will surely appreciate the extra money you save at the gas station!
