Popular Japanese sushi bar and grill is opening first Edmonton outpost

One of Calgary’s most popular spots for sushi is opening its first Edmonton outpost.

Kinjo Sushi & Grill is opening its doors at South Edmonton Common on January 15.

The spot is known to be family-friendly, offering classic Japanese cuisine with sushi, ramen, donburi, fried chicken and more on its extensive menu.

Kinjo has several different ramen types to enjoy with black, red, miso, and veggie options, which also come in mini versions.

Sushi fans will love the large selection of sashimi and rolls, including classics such as Dynamite rolls, spicy tuna rolls, and unagi rolls.

Kinjo also offers plenty of signature rolls, including the Benihana roll, which features red tuna, jalapeno, soy paper, and volcano sauce, deep-fried in tempura batter, and the Hot Beef roll, which features Teriyaki beef, mozzarella cheese, unagi sauce, and magic sauce.

Kinjo already has seven outposts in Calgary, and now it’s debuting in Edmonton. This is an exciting time for the brand.
