NFL playoffs down to eight teams: Who’s going to win the Super Bowl?

There were no major upsets in the first round of the postseason, so the Super Bowl odds at FanDuel haven’t changed much.

Fans can look ahead to the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs playing their first playoff games this weekend after first-round byes.

MVP candidates go head-to-head

The biggest storyline for this weekend’s game is the battle between the Ravens and Bills, which happens on Sunday. Each team is led by an MVP-candidate quarterback in Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen.

While Allen was the MVP-favourite for much of the second half of the season, Jackson has taken over ever since being named AP First-Team All-Pro. If Jackson wins the league’s ultimate individual award this season, it will be his third MVP.

Both players would surely like to come out on top for the MVP, but they’ll be more focused on securing a win on Sunday. The winner of the game will advance to the AFC Championship where a likely meeting with the Chiefs is waiting.

The Ravens and Bills are both a bit lower down on FanDuel’s odds table, but that’s not because of their quality. Having to play against each other so early in the playoff bracket makes winning the Super Bowl tougher for each team.
