We sure are lucky to call Alberta home with all the amazing things it has to offer, and a new ranking has just revealed the most liveable cities in Alberta.
The ranking of the top 100 most liveable cities in Canada was completed for the second year in a row by The Globe and Mail, which evaluated 448 communities that had a population of at least over 10,000 based on 50 variables, which spanned 10 categories such as transportation, community, climate, amenities, and housing.
When it came to the top 10 nationally, North Vancouver came in first place, followed by West Vancouver in second, Victoria in third, Winnipeg in fourth, Regina and Saskatoon in fifth and sixth, Calgary in seventh, Pitt Meadows in eighth, Penticton in ninth and Oakville in tenth.
A ranking of the top 20 cities in Alberta was also released, with many recognizable and maybe some surprise spots making the cut.
