Local holiday market is bringing a jam-packed weekend of festive celebrations to Edmonton

Get in the spirit, Edmonton! A weekend-long holiday market is touching down in the city, and it’s your chance to celebrate and embrace those festive vibes.

The 2024 South Pole Holiday Workshop takes place on Saturday, December 7, and Sunday, December 8, at South Edmonton Common. Get ready for two full days of holly jolly fun with special programming, including a huge vendor market with local artisans and artists.

Bring out your best Christmas outfits and pose for free photos with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the Grinch — and on Sunday, bring your furry friends to have their very own festive snaps taken!

As you shop the market and take in the weekend-long festivities (including vendors like Royce and Oak, Pampas Gal, and more), you’ll be listening to some classic Christmas carols from local singer Robyn Ashley.

Keep spreading that holiday joy as you bring your gifts to the wrapping station, accessible via donation in support of Autism Edmonton.

To show more community support, you can you can donate unopened hygiene products to the YOUCAN Youth Services Booth. Some most wanted products include deodorant, shampoo, soap, laundry detergent, and other toiletries.

But that’s not all! The South Pole Holiday Workshop will be giving out free coffee, hot chocolate, and maple taffy — plus, it’s hosting a very special Santa letter-writing station courtesy of IKEA Edmonton so, remember to bring your wishlist.

It’s going to be a jam-packed weekend of seasonal fun, and you don’t want to miss out. RSVP on The South Pole Holiday Workshop Facebook event to stay connected and let it snow!
