It seems luck was in the air this weekend, as eight people in Alberta are walking away with some life-changing lottery prizes.
The Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) says someone in Alberta took home Lotto Max’s second-top prize on Friday, November 29. The $355,128.90-winning ticket was purchased somewhere in the province (outside of Calgary and/or Edmonton) and matched six of the seven Main draw numbers and the Bonus number: 6, 17, 26, 29, 30, 39, and 49, and the Bonus, 2.
The good luck didn’t stop there — someone in the province won one of the 21 Maxmillions draws, sharing the prize with a ticket purchased somewhere in Quebec. The $500,000-winning ticket matched the numbers 7, 12, 17, 24, 28, 45 and 48.
When it comes to Lotto 6/49 tickets, a whopping four Albertans won $25,000 each on the Saturday, November 30 Lotto 6/49 SuperDraw. The winning numbers were (exact match only):
- 36347677-01
- 36636313-01
- 37208821-02
- 38535665-01
Alberta was also a hot spot for Extra on Friday, November 29. The WCLC says two Albertans won $100,000 each after matching the last six digits of the Extra number, 1709796.
The winner or winners have one year to claim their prize and can start their claim by contacting Player Care at 1-800-665-3313.
