According to Environment and Climate Change Canada, Edmonton’s forecast for this week looks frosty, with daytime highs in the sub-zero teens and overnight lows as low as -18°C.
The season for fall jackets is officially over in Edmonton. Today’s high of -1°C will be the warmest temperature of the week, with highs from Tuesday to Saturday ranging between -8°C and -13°C.
Next Sunday, November 24, looks even colder, with a predicted high of just -14°C.
Overnight lows will feel like the inside of a freezer, forecast to be between -12°C and a brutal -18°C on Saturday.
Unlike Calgary, which saw a snowfall warning issued Monday morning, Edmonton won’t see much snow until later this week. Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) predicts periods of snow on Friday, followed by a 60% chance of flurries throughout Saturday, both day and night.
