Edmonton Oilers forward Zach Hyman is a busy man these days.
On the same day that the OHL confirmed that Hyman and his family had bought the Brantford Bulldogs, it was also revealed that the gritty Oilers forward scored a fun new endorsement deal.
He was recently featured in a new Oreo ad campaign alongside other NHLers like Vancouver Canucks captain Quinn Hughes and Toronto Maple Leafs star William Nylander.
For a player with such a wholesome image, Hyman partnering up with Oreo sounds like a match made in heaven.
Zach Hyman can add the title of “Oreo ambassador” alongside his other jobs as an NHL player and OHL team owner.
Looks like he scored an endorsement deal with the cookie company alongside other NHLers like Quinn Hughes and William Nylander.

Hyman is helping Team Oreo promote its new “Stay Playful” campaign, which aims to make hockey more accessible to kids across Canada. In addition to the NHL stars participating in this campaign, a handful of PWHL superstars, such as Sarah Nurse and Marie Philip Poulin, are also participating.
Included in the announcement were a few quotes from Hyman, who talked about the importance of making the sport more accessible.
“It’s important for kids to have access to hockey because it’s not just about playing the game, it’s also about making friends, learning how to work in a team, and staying active,” Hyman said.
The 32-year-old is quite prolific in his career paths. In addition to his day job as one of the NHL’s most dangerous scorers, Hyman is the founder of e-sports company Eleven Holdings Corp. and a published children’s author, having written three sports-related books.
This isn’t even the first new sponsorship that Hyman has managed to score this season. Back in September, the Oilers forward was revealed to have inked a deal with hockey equipment brand Warrior.
Hyman’s on-ice performance hasn’t been too shabby either, having picked up 11 goals and 17 points since the beginning of December. He is hoping to help the Oilers get back to the Stanley Cup Final for a second straight season.
Whether he gets them or not is yet to be seen… we’ll have to see how the cookie crumbles.
