The Bolo Program has announced its latest list of Canada’s 25 most wanted, urging the public to assist in capturing the suspects.
Bolo Program Executive Director Max Langlois was joined by officers from around 15 law enforcement agencies nationwide during a press conference on December 4. Life-sized cutouts of the wanted fugitives and Bolo-themed advent calendars featuring the 25 wanted suspects were displayed during the conference.
“Since 2018, Bolo Program has encouraged Quebecers and Canadians to be on the lookout for the country’s most wanted fugitives, with the aim of making our communities safer,” said Langlois.
BOLO stands for “be on the lookout,” and the Bolo Program is an initiative that uses social media, technology, and community engagement to apprehend Canada’s most wanted. After Bolo unveiled its top 25 list in April, seven arrests have been made. The program also offers rewards that lead to an arrest. Citizens are being asked not to take action to apprehend the suspects as they may be armed and dangerous.
Bolo Program’s latest list features 24 men and one woman. Here are the top 25 suspects in Canada right now and why they’re wanted by authorities.
