A 43-year-old man was fatally stabbed in Red Deer Saturday evening.
Local Mounties say the stabbing was reported just before 10:30 p.m.
The victim was found at the corner of 49 Avenue and 53 Street. He was given medical treatment but later died, RCMP said.
Officers arrested an 18-year-old man in the area.
As a judicial interim hearing has not yet been held, police said they could not release any other information.
The major crimes unit is investigating.
