An apartment building in west central Edmonton was evacuated because of a fire on Friday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the walk-up building at 124 Street and 109 Avenue around 12:40 p.m.
Smoke could be seen coming from a suite on the top floor of the building.
A CTV News Edmonton photographer captured images of one person being taken from the scene by ambulance.
