Edmonton police say an 18-year-old woman has been killed after being struck by a Jeep just after midnight on Sunday.
EPS responded to a report of a vehicle-pedestrian collision around 12:30 a.m. at 107 Avenue and 130 Street.
Officers believe the 18-year-old was hit by a Jeep that was heading East on 107 Avenue while the victim was walking across the intersection.
The woman died at the scene following the collision.
The driver of the Jeep, a 34-year-old woman, stayed at the scene. She has since been charged with refusal after an accident causing death and impaired operation causing death.
