Police look for suspect in knifepoint robbery of southeast Edmonton convenience store

Police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a southeast Edmonton convenience store at knifepoint earlier this month.

The Edmonton Police Service says the suspect entered the business on Ewing Trail SW and 101 Street on Sept. 3 around 3:43 a.m.

Police say the suspect was holding a knife when he demanded cash from the register. He then fled in what authorities believe was a white 2009-2013 Toyota Corolla with a burned-out passenger-side headlight.

No store employees or customers were injured during the alleged robbery.

The suspect is described as roughly five-foot-seven, weighing 150 lbs. He was wearing an undone plaid button up shirt with a navy-blue shirt underneath, grey jeans, a white hat, black running shoes, and a white bandana covering his face.
