Dec. 6 marks the fourth anniversary of the homicide of a two-year-old boy in southeast Edmonton, and police are still looking for information regarding his death.
EPS says on Dec. 6, 2020, officers responded to a home near 2 Avenue and 85 Street SW, after receiving a report that a two-year-old was in medical distress.

Paramedics took the boy to the Stollery Children’s Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
An autopsy the following day was able to confirm that the manner of death was homicide. However, police didn’t release the cause of death due to their investigation.
“The murder of a child is an unimaginable tragedy,” says Staff Sgt. Rob Bilawey with the EPS Homicide Section. “Homicide detectives are working relentlessly to identify those responsible for this tragic murder, and we are asking anyone with information to come forward.”
