Katy Perry coming to Edmonton this summer

Music superstar Katy Perry has announced her first Canadian tour in eight years — and Edmonton is one of the stops.

The pop sensation will be performing at Rogers Place on July 24, 2025, as part of her “The Lifetimes Tour.”

After touring Mexico and Australia, Perry will make her way across Canada with concerts in Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City and Toronto. It will mark her first shows in Canada since 2017.

“I’m just glad that I get to go to some of the in-between spots too,” Perry, 40, told CityNews Toronto’s Lindsay Dunn. “It just makes me happy that we get to really experience Canada all over again. By the time I get there, it will have been eight years. So I’m sure so much has evolved. I get to bring my four-year-old daughter. I get to show off Canada to her.

“You guys are the nicest, most unproblematic group of people and you love music, you love the arts.”

The tour follows the “Firework” singer’s seventh studio album, “143,” which she released this September.

Tickets for the Canadian dates will go on pre-sale Wednesday, and general sale Friday.
