Edmonton Fire Rescue Services responded to an apartment fire along Jasper Avenue Thursday afternoon.
EFRS says a call came in around 1:51 p.m., and crews were on scene in three minutes.
At 1:56 p.m., a second alarm was called, and more firefighters began to help fight the blaze.
In a statement to CityNews, EFRS said by 2:30 p.m., 12 units were on scene, along with a District Chief, investigators, and paramedics.
One person was taken to hospital. At this time their condition is not known.
At this time the cause of the fire is unknown.
