Edmonton police, family, concerned for teen missing for days

Edmonton police need the public’s help finding a missing teenage girl who was last seen in the city’s northwest on Friday.

In a release from early Sunday morning, officers say 14-year-old Abigail Sinclair was in the Airport Road and Kingsway Avenue area on Sept. 27.

Police describe her as being an Indigenous girl and being 5’5″ tall, 130 lbs, with a slim build and dark brown shoulder-length hair. They say she was last seen in a dark-coloured hoodie, a black T-shirt, and black jeans.

Officers add Sinclair also goes by Kai.

She also hasn’t contacted her family recently, officers say, which has led to concern for her welfare from her family and police.

Anyone with any information about the whereabouts of Sinclair is asked to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone.
