Charges pending after car burns red light, collides with ETS bus: police

Edmonton police say charges are pending against the driver of a car that allegedly burned a red light before being struck by an Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) bus on Sunday night.

The Edmonton Police Service says everyone in the car was taken to hospital. Nobody on the bus reported any injuries, police add.

It happened at 156 Street and 107 Avenue around 9 p.m. The intersection was fully shut down while emergency services were on the scene.

The EPS major collisions investigation section is investigating.

More coming.
