Blue Rodeo, Black Pumas, Good Lovelies and Robert Finley are among the artists who were added to the Edmonton Folk Music Festival.
Folk Fest, one of Edmonton’s most prominent music festivals, promises to appeal to a variety of music lovers this year – with an eclectic lineup revealed Tuesday.
Ben Howard, KT Tunstall, Rhiannon Giddens, Alpha Yaya Diallo and Rose Cousins will also perform at the Aug. 8-11 festival at Gallagher Park.
The musicians join already announced headliners Robert Plant and Alison Krauss.
“And I couldn’t be more happy to present this incredible weekend lineup that is going to make that finale with Robert Plant and Alison Krauss so much more special,” said festival producer Terry Wickham in a news release.
Tickets go on sale Saturday.
