CBC’s Radio Active will be live in person at the Katz Group Centre for Pharmacy and Health Research on the University of Alberta’s north campus on Nov. 8.
It’s been one year since the Alberta government announced the restructuring of health care in our province focusing on primary care, acute care, continuing care and mental health and addiction.
We’ll look at what changes have actually happened and what it means to our health-care system now.
We’ll talk with medical students about why they want to be part of the system. We’ll meet Albertans who have to travel hours to get care. And we’ll look at some of the latest innovations coming out of our province.
And we’d like to hear from you. What’s been your experience with Alberta’s health-care system when it comes to care and wait times?
How have you been impacted in the past year?
If you have a story to tell, email radioactive@cbc.ca.
And make sure to tune in Nov. 8 for Health Care Checkup on Radio Active. Listen live on the CBC News app.
