Summer is the time of campfires, marshmallows and ghost stories, and Edmonton podcaster Nadine Bailey wants to scratch that spooky itch all year long.

Bailey shares the story of how she made her show Haunted Canada, on the latest episode of CBC podcast This Is Edmonton. It’s part of our summer series of podcast deep dives.

18:18Podcast deep dive: Haunted Canada

This summer we’re speaking to other local podcasters about the stories they tell and how they do it. This week we speak to Nadine Bailey of Haunted Canada. The Edmonton-based show takes a countrywide view on ghost stories, haunting and mysteries. Nadine shares how her background running Edmonton Ghost Tours pushed her into podcasting.

Haunted Canada grew out of Bailey’s work as the producer/host of Edmonton Ghost Tours, with the podcast taking a national view on ghost stories, hauntings and mysteries. Bailey talks about how her storytelling style shifts from in-person to the podcast format.
