Police are searching for the next of kin of a man who was killed in a crash last week.
Perry Eastman, 66, died on the evening of Jan. 8 after he was hit by a 2004 Chevrolet Impala at 97 Street and 129 Avenue.
Investigators say he was crossing where not allowed.
He was initially unidentified and police are now trying to find someone who knows him.
“We are hopeful that a member of the public will contact us with information that will help us reach the friends or family of Mr. Eastman,” Sgt. Duane Bateman of Edmonton Police Service’s major collisions investigation section said in a news release. “As we seek to bring closure to his passing, we appreciate any assistance that will help us contact his loved ones.”
Anyone with information about Eastman is asked to contact EPS at 780-423-4567.
