An ENORMOUS New Year’s Eve party is happening in the ICE District

Downtown Edmonton will be the place to ring in 2025, with the ICE District hosting a massive celebration on New Year’s Eve with some big names in country music.

OEG Sports & Entertainment has announced that it’s hosting a New Year’s Eve party in ICE District Plaza, complete with an Oilers watch party and outdoor concert. Fans will be able to cheer on the Oilers as they take on the Utah Hockey Club at home for the first time.

The event will feature food, drinks, a DJ, outdoor heaters, prizes, and the game on a massive screen.

Following the game, the plaza will transform, featuring music from multi-platinum artist and 2024 Canadian Country Music Awards Album of the Year winner Jade Eagleson, along with Canadian country singer Dawson Gray.

Finally, a giant countdown screen and fireworks at midnight will mark the start of 2025.

Admission is free, but space is limited in the ICE District, so it’s recommended that you show up early.

Last year, more than 4,000 people gathered in the ICE District to say goodbye to 2023, and this year’s celebration promises to be even bigger.
