Perreault, 22, was acquired by the Canadiens ahead of the 2024 trade deadline in a deal that sent Jan Mysak to the Anaheim Ducks. He most recently played for Trois-Rivières Lions in the ECHL.
Meanwhile, Hoefenmayer, 25, has tallied seven points in 11 games with the AHL’s Bakersfield Condors this season. Drafted by the Arizona Coyotes back in 2017, the 6-foot-1, 191-pound defenseman has 21 goals and 51 assists in 149 career AHL games with the Toronto Marlies and Condors.
