A MASSIVE new shopping centre is in the works for south Edmonton

A massive new shopping centre is in the works for the outskirts of Edmonton, set to bring around 85,000 square feet of retail space to the city’s south end.

EVER at Mattson, a project led by EVER Real Estate Developments Ltd., will include 10 buildings, including a 34,500-square-foot grocery or big-box store at the corner of 25th Avenue SW and 66th Street SW.

The development is set to serve a growing population of over 23,000 residents, with more growth planned in the surrounding area, according to the developer’s website.

The site is in a rapidly developing residential neighbourhood with several low-to-medium-density communities nearby.

Located right at the intersection of 66th Street and 25th Avenue, it will have three access points and around 300 surface parking stalls.

Two end units will be designed for drive-thrus, and patio spaces will also be available. The centre is also planned to be accessible by public transit and close to schools, parks, and pedestrian-friendly neighbourhoods.
