If you’ve got older or gently used IKEA items, you’re in luck because the furniture giant has sweetened the deal on its sell-back program.
Until November 30, IKEA Family members get double the value back on the popular service.
To participate in the sell-back program, you need to submit an online application to determine the amount of in-store credit you can get for your used IKEA products.
You’ll receive an estimate, and then you can bring back your assembled furniture to the location that approved your sell-back within 30 days of receiving your estimate.
Qualifying items should be in good, resealable condition, complete and fully functional, properly assembled when returned, and clean and unmodified. A list of eligible items is below.
In the store’s exchange and returns area, a staff member will examine the condition of your items, and you’ll receive a final price that may differ from the original estimate.
You’ll receive an IKEA refund card to spend online or in-store at any time, but it can’t be used in its Bistros, Restaurants or Swedish Food Markets.
To take part in the sell-back program during this promo period and in general, you must be an IKEA Family member, which is free to sign up for here. The loyalty program lets shoppers in on rewards, discounts and exclusive offers.
