Hot off the heels of opening its first YEG outpost at West Edmonton Mall, Chick-fil-A has opened the doors at its second location in the city.
Chick-fil-A welcomed customers to its new standalone location at South Edmonton Common today with dine-in and drive-thru options.
The new spot is locally owned and operated by Tom Messick and will employ up to 120 full and part-time team members.
The new Chick-fil-A location will be open from 10:30 am to 10 pm Monday through Saturday.
The new location is part of the Georgia-based chain’s rapid expansion in Alberta. By 2030, the company aims to open 20 locations in the province.
In addition to WEM and South Edmonton Common, two other YEG Chick-fil-A outposts have been confirmed at Sunwapta Shopping Centre and The Meadows. Both outposts are slated to open in 2025.
