All eyes are on the prize pool for Tuesday night’s lottery draw, which features a total of $80 million in prizes to be won.
“Lotto Max is feeling the festive vibes and preparing to light up the season with the joy of winning!” reads a release from OLG.
The draw is set to take place tonight, and after several draws without a big winner, the jackpot has reached $70 million. And that’s not all. There are now also 10 Maxmillions prizes up for grabs, each worth $1 million.
Although it’s been a while since someone won the top prize, there have been some pretty impressive wins in the past few Lotto Max draws.
On November 15, two people split the second prize after they matched six of the seven winning numbers and the bonus number. Each will receive $125,952.40, and both winning tickets were sold in Ontario.
The last time anyone won a Lotto Max top prize was on October 15, when a lottery player matched the winning numbers 08, 12, 19, 20, 26, 32, and 46. According to PlayNow, the lucky ticket was purchased in Etobicoke, Ontario. Someone from BC also won the second prize worth $220,354 after buying their ticket online.
