While the original design was leaked months ago, the Toronto Raptors have finally unveiled their alternate jersey honouring team legend Vince Carter.
On Thursday, the team posted a video of a new black and purple uniform to celebrate the franchise’s 30th anniversary. The jersey’s crest features a nod to Carter with a dinosaur dunking a basketball between its legs.
The Raptor, based on the logo from the team’s inaugural 1995-1996 season, is wearing the former shooting guard’s No. 15.
The new jerseys are already available on the team’s online store, currently selling for $150 apiece. They are part of the league-wide release of the 2024-25 Nike NBA City Edition collection, unveiled for all 30 teams this morning.

Toronto’s players will rock their Carter-inspired uniforms on the court on Thursday, November 21 when the Raptors host the Minnesota Timberwolves at Scotiabank Arena. They will be worn in a total of five games this season.
Carter, who saw his number retired by the team on November 2, spent his first seven NBA seasons with the Raptors, racking up 9,420 points, 1,553 assists, and 2,091 rebounds. While he wasn’t able to bring a championship to Toronto, the 47-year-old, who was inducted into the Naismith Hall of Fame last month, is widely considered by fans to be the best player in Raptors history.
