Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge set to reopen following wildfires

The iconic Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is all set to reopen following devastating wildfires in Jasper and its surrounding areas in July.

In a release, the hotel said they will be welcoming guests from Oct. 1 and are now accepting reservations. The hotel will operate at a reduced capacity to prioritize safety and ensure exceptional guest experience.

The resort will also contribute their October earnings towards rebuilding efforts, they say.

“Our deepest gratitude goes out to our colleagues, first responders, the Municipality of Jasper and Parks Canada for their unwavering dedication. We are honoured to give back to the Jasper community by contributing 100 per cent of the resort fee from all October 2024 guest room bookings toward local rebuilding efforts,” the resort stated.

The resort looks to retain its iconic charm and ensure the guests have access to most amenities.

They also pledged that the proceeds of the event ‘Symphony Under the Stars,’ being held on Oct.19, to the Jasper community.
